In this video clip we check out horizon & point of view. We will see the horizon (or Vanishing Point) is established by the angle as well as elevation of the onlooker … Enjoy:-RRB-.

Good video. We also need to integrate atmosphere and the suns refraction
with the perspective theory. Dr Zack did an excellent video merging both

help…….. explain the colors of the clouds at sun set, for friends. I
don’t know what to say. I love art, perspective is my thing and all! my
friends can’t get it….. so sad i am, big island hawaii

  3. What i like about the fe movement is that it makes the shape of the earth
debatable. i had my doubts before but i never thought of this be standing

Everytime I open your or someone’s video on FE seconds after it was posted
there is at least one thumb down. Maybe you have subscribers whose sole
purpose and job is to thumb you down.Have you noticed that. Unbelievable!!

…… just click your heels three times together and say there’s no place
like Flat Earth, there’s no place like Flat Earth!

  6. The sun is actually the same size when viewed through a telescope, without
zooming in at all. It does APPEAR to shrink as it sets but that is due to
the air particles/molecules which scatter light. Excellent description of
    the horizon. :)

How can you say you accept that sun stays the same size, and yet watch it
“sink” into a horizon vanishing point, without changing size and speed?
Have you ever watched an airplane fly over your head and head to the
horizon, and NOT change its apparent size and speed?

I may be totally off but I have an additional theory to Stinky Cash. What
if the object which crosses the vanishing point inverts and that’s why you
get the mirror effect for both the ships and the Sun?

I would add one more thing. The effect where the water appears to obscure
the bottom portions of buildings comes and goes depeding on conditions.
Jeranism has a couple of videos on that. “Flat or Globe ?” has a perfect
video where it disappears within minutes.

You can’t see ANYTHING past such a horizon. On an effectively infinite flat
plane, the “horizon” represents all the visible objects that have dwindled
in size to a line. All too small to make out. Including the buildings and

Yes refraction does effect how much is visible at different times, but it’s
only a freak occurrence. You need to ask yourself with skylines ALWAYS
“sink” into the water as you move away from them.

      But you probably won’t.

  9. Where is Flat Earth Math to give us some math as proof for the buildings
being obscured by the water? Give us some knowledge of math, we are just
    flat earthers

    • Flat Earth Math // 16th Nov 2016 at 9:49 pm // Reply

No, you are not “just” flat Earthers, you guys can do math just fine. 🙂
Plus I never try to offer my explanations as “proof” of anything. Evidence,
maybe, but proof, that’s impossible to come by. As for the buildings, check
out “Chicago Across Lake Michigan” in this folder:
      drive DOT google DOT

If you use the Earth Curve Calculator at GitHub, you’ll find that it
predicts the amount of obstruction seen *perfectly* at 30 and 40 miles.
Flat Earth folks say “it’s just perspective” and “you can only see so far”
yet they can’t make any prediction about how much of the Sears/Willis tower
would be obstructed at those distances. 🙂 The ability to make predictions
is a powerful indicator that one’s nearer to the truth than not.

  10. Just fabulous!

  11. the thing is Retarts will still Deny Facts like this lol…Yea some are
just meant to roam here as retarts so let them be wat they were meant to be

It’s hilarious how readily you quote scientists when they say something
that agrees with flat earth. Every other time, they are “always lying,
because they are all in on it”. lol

Yes there would still be a horizon on a flat earth, but you would still be
able to see far-off objects, they would just be smaller and more indistinct
through all the atmospheric haze. They would NOT, however, “sink” into the
    Earth with distance.

Your dog-sun diagram is correct, but I noticed on the perspective drawing,
you did not make the buildings and suns much smaller as they receded to
that infinite vanishing point. That sun should have been half the diameter
as it got half way towards that vanishing point, and obviously its size
would approach zero as it APPROACHED the horizon. And you also did not
mention that the sun could NEVER drop BELOW that vanishing point horizon.

You cant’ CONTINUE the lines after that vanishing point! That point is
effectively an INFINITE distance point where the objects are effectively
ZERO size!!! What are you talking about? You can’t SEE anything past those
points. It’s idiotic to continue those lines up into new dimensions!

The dog would NEVER look in an upward direction, ever. On even an
infinitely flat plane, his eyes would always be looking at that horizon at
a tiny DOWN angle, since they would always be about 3 feet above the
horizon, however it SEEMS to look to the observer, due to perspective.
Don’t’ you get it? The railroad tracks you’re watching recede – even on a
flat infinite plane – never go UP. Don’t you understand that? it’s an
optical illusion. Or do you really believe the tracks rise up?

“You can’t see the FACE of the ground past the horizon”? What on earth does
that mean? You mean on a massive flat plane? Why not? You would always be
looking DOWN at a slight angle at ALL the ground (assuming it’s flat),
right? The only problem would be the fact that it’s so tiny you can’t see
it any more. Only on a GLOBE, do you run into the problem on no longer
being able to see the surface.

I’m sorry. I can’t continue any more. Now you have the sun CROSSING the
infinite plane horizon? And at about HALF apparent magnitude? Not ZERO
    size? lol

Best of luck disproving the “wheel” next, pal.

  13. very nice….

  14. Cash nailed it. I don’t know why it’s so difficult for certain people to
    understand these issues.

Well it’s just like he said… Our whole lives we’re taught that the
horizon is effectively synonymous with the curve of the Earth. We never
learn about visual horizon, the function of our own limited visual capacity.

How about putting a camera on a rocket that goes 60 miles high up ..
